Our 5 hour deep sea reef and game Gold Coast fishing charter fee is $90 per person. Three boarding times are available ~ 6.00am, 11.15am and 4.30pm. We build the party to a maximum of 12 guests, i.e. singles, twos etc are no problem. Alternatively you can book the "whole boat" for your group only, the fee is $1020 for Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays Our Monday to Friday SPECIAL is $960 for the "whole boat" for your guests only, i.e. $80ea when you bring 12 persons.
WHAT DO WE CATCH, WHERE DO WE FISH AND WHAT WEATHER CAN WE EXPECT? We do fish all year round, (averaging around 300 trips per year since 1987) mainly over rocky reefs from the seaway/the entrance to the ocean to 11 kilometers from shore in depths from 10 to 48 meters for Mackerel, Cobia, Tuna, Snapper, Sharks, Wahoo, MahiMahi, Sailfish, Marlin and many other rocky reef fish. As a general rule we fish where we had the best fishing the trip before. Our/Your fishing technique is simultaneous, multi level pilchard and squid bait fishing, live baiting/any fish caught that is of legal size, strip baiting/fillets of freshly caught legal fish, lure spinning/retrieving and lure trolling - whatever is working the best on the day. If unfamiliar, with those terms, don't let that "fish speak" worry you, we gladly assist/coach as required. Autumn, winter and spring has comfortable mild weather, approximately 20 degrees centigrade, day temperature. Summer has typical tropical weather, often with cooling afternoon sea breezes giving approximately 30 degrees centigrade day temp. In summer and autumn we encounter more Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo, MahiMahi, Spanish, School and Spotted Mackerel. Winter and Spring are our best times for Snapper, Tuna, monster Cobia/our largest @ 51 kgs and Sharks. Whaler sharks at around 3 meters in length are common, our biggest Whaler Shark bought to the boat and released was 5.1 meters long. Our largest fish ever caught by a charter guest was a Great White Pointer, guesstimated by all onboard at over 6 meters, it was freed in excellent condition as soon as it was identified as they are endangered and protected.
HOW DO I ENQUIRE, BOOK AND PAY? Our preferred enquiry and booking method is by email or text. To secure your booking we do require your Visa or MasterCard details on which a sufficient funds approval is obtained but is not drawn on unless you default on your booking. Payment by cash, Visa or MasterCard is taken on the boat after boarding. Our cancellation policy is that when you cancel we will endeavor to replace your booking but if unsuccessful we will debit your Visa or MasterCard and or cancel your gift vouchers.
